Winter Volunteer Description: Click HERE for link
This winter we will be pulling old stalks, plating for spring, cleaning and organizing our barn, packaging in the apothecary, and preparing for our Eucalyptus and Rose transplating this season. Learn how to plant, weed, some secrets in our apothecary, move your body this winter! We feed our people and will have fresh baked goods by Mama Calhoun, a special gift, and of course coffee and tea!
For our grounding experiences, we have created a boutique farm in collaboration with Esslinger Farms Inc. to curate immersive connecting moments through nature and the legacy of farming. We would love your help in tidying, farming: weeding, planting, trimming, and watering. Also, we are working on our pumpkin patch and preparing for Fall! We would love your help in this growing experience and passing along some knowledge.
We will guide you on a variety of projects that you can work on peacefully and independently or in a group. Sign up HERE by checking out with a free admission ticket! When you get to the farm, we’ll get you started on some fun farm projects, according to everyone’s comfort level. Sounds like a win-win!!
A few notes about this event and your visit to our farm:
W e are a FARM! We know, that sounds obvious, yet we want your visit to be as wonderful as possible! You will be walking on uneven surfaces, there may be muddy sections, too (even in the desert) and some stickers - so please wear comfortable sturdy footwear.
Keep in mind that we are a working farm and a healthy farm means an abundance of insect life. We'll provide bug spray but we invite you to bring your own if there are particular scents or ingredients you prefer.
Please read your EMAIL confirmation! That is the ONLY place our address will be published!
